# Billing and Plans

Open **Settings → Billing** to see the available plans and what each one includes. You will see three plan cards for the current billing options. The page is available to admins on the Bring Your Own Key and Open Source Software plans; Enterprise billing is handled with your account team.

### Open Source Software

The Open Source Software plan is free for public open-source projects and runs on your own AI provider key for inference ([supported providers](/docs/administration/supported-providers.md)). See [Add your AI provider key](/docs/getting-started/add-your-ai-provider-key.md) and [AI provider keys](/docs/administration/ai-provider-keys.md) for setup context.

The **Apply** dialog asks for project name, public repo URL, and description. Doc Holiday sends the decision by email.

### Bring Your Own Key

The Bring Your Own Key plan is a self-serve subscription that costs $100/month per organization. It starts with a free trial, and you manage billing in the billing portal.

If the subscription lapses, your work pauses until billing is current. The banner reads: **Your BYOK subscription is no longer active. You can still view Doc Holiday, but new requests are disabled until you resubscribe.**
